Anna holding a print as she is installing work in a gallery.

Archived, imaged, reconstructed. The language of print is deeply rooted in my investigations into the representation of the planet.

My practice attends to scientific data and imaging technologies, from satellite viewpoints and microscopic observations of the land to archaeological imaging techniques. I translate primary imagery or publicly available data into surreal landscapes, abstracted forms, and surface textures to tell a story of deep time and deep futures at the core of a planet subjected to exploitative human activity.

Interconnecting fiction with print encourages me to listen and engage with urgent ecological issues through collaborative encounters across art, science, and technology.

By layering printed matter, I utilise curation to extend the narrative of an ongoing investigation, as if stitching together evidence. Digital reconstructions and text communicate with experimental etchings and screen-printed compositions, reframing visual representations of the landscape and expanding the perspectives of original scientific data and research.
