About
I am a multidisciplinary artist specialising in traditional and contemporary printmaking and extending into sculpture and installation to test the potentials of research-based creative practice.
I graduated from BA Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton in 2021. In 2023, I graduated from MA Print at the Royal College of Art and was awarded a Distinction in my Critical and Historical Studies dissertation titled ‘Exploitative Extraction and Perspectives of Power: An essay investigating perspective through archives, contemporary art practice, and fictional narratives in the representation of resource extraction’, in which I investigated the role of creative intervention to address complex issues entangled with resource extraction in imagery and archives.
I have a range of experience organising and facilitating creative workshops and have taught printmaking through courses and public events.
I am an active member and Marketing Officer in ZEST Collective and a co-curator of Boiling Point Artist Collective, both of which value creative practice through collaborative projects, exhibitions, and community engagement.
In the summer of 2024 I was selected to participate in ‘Ground Up’, an artist residency program facilitated by GroundWork Gallery based in Kings Lynn, which comprised of an intensive week of field research across Norfolk followed by a week of independent practice. The outcomes from this residency will be exhibited in the gallery in 2025.
